![]() Lower Merion’s own Superintendent of Police Michael McGrath will talk about how the opioid epidemic has affected Lower Merion Cathy D’Orazio, a certified nutritionist, will be talking about nutrition’s role in sports and diet and Lankenau’s Dr. “Stories of Science Gone Wrong” is the title of a provocative panel on Sunday, November 12th in the Board Room of the Township building (75 East Lancaster Ave, Ardmore) at 2 pm. Check with your local children’s librarian to get an exact date and time. Storybook hours for younger patrons throughout November will feature Ada Twist, Scientist written by Andrea Beatty and illustrated by David Roberts to tie in to One Book. Bev Rosen, a terrific reviewer and insightful analyst, will lead what will certainly be a lively discussion. Our kick-off event will be a book review on Wednesday, November 1st at 1 pm at the Bala Cynwyd Library, located at the corner of Old Lancaster Road and Highland Avenue in Bala Cynwyd.
